sorry about the wrong thread but i thought since it was just for the lt1 i could put it in here hey how did the light shine through those

NoRiceInside 12-18-2004 06:30 PM

well the lighting isnt any different for LT1...even so its appearance...anywho its okay, we wont hold it against you.

as for light shining through, i used to drive through my neighborhood at nights and i'd hit the brakes and notice everything behind me glowing red. after the blackouts it glowed red, but much less. you can easily tell that the brakes are on though, and theres still the third brake light to shine. my third brake light was also blacked out though. the best example i can give is of the headlights. the blackouts had to come off at night with the headlights cuz i'd almost go off the road. hard to see.

I use to have headlight and taillight blackouts. I had Wade one's and was very happy with the quality. The taillights would show through really well but you really do need to take the front one's off when you drive at night.

Well that is two threads in two days, I don't want to see a rush of post like this in this section.

You got all your blackouts from rksport? I didn't know they made them for the sidemarkers.. hmm

imported_2fast4u 12-18-2004 11:14 PM

how do these taillight black outs fit on the lights?

FORCE_FED_Z 12-18-2004 11:45 PM

There is a tab underneath and they clip over the top-

You can't take off without opening the hatch therefore if someone tries to take them at least they will be broken-

imported_2fast4u 12-19-2004 10:12 AM

but if u open the trunk they wont come off right?

camaro94 12-20-2004 12:59 PM

I have blacked out lights on mine, and I have no problem. I use the Nite Shades tint instead of the covers....
