Borla Catback
 

Well I bought an adjustable Borla catback off a member of LS1Tech and I just finished installing it yesterday. It sounds good but the only plate I have is the wide open one. So later this week I'm going to order a QTP cutout that's made for the Borla and install that up there so I can adjust it from inside the car on the fly. This way I can drive through my condo building without pissing off all the old people yet still have fun when I get out.
This is honestly the first exhaust I've ever owned on any FBody that didn't have any rasp to it. So needless to say I'm very happy with it. Now as soon as my CME valance comes in I can get that painted and installed. Just need to figture out if I want to use the the SLP stock tips for the valance or if I'd like to do something custom and use my Borla intercooled tips so my exhaust won't look like the stock SS one.

how much did it cost? When u get everything together can u get some video?

I couldn't find the SLP dual tips and when I did they were almost $500 so I thought I'd just use my Borla tips. Plus it'll be different. I've never seen the SLP CME with any other tips than the stock one so where else would I have gotten it from?

I like the sound as well, especially running through the longtubes and ORY. I'm going to buy the QTP cutout that goes in place of the plates so I can adjust the exhaust sound from inside the car. So if I ever drive past a cop or something I can close it off.

Yeah.. I cant wait till I get some headers and other stuff on there.. But that will be a while because im gonna get the paint done first.. Except I just bought a SLP whisper lid..

Chad, do me a favor when you get a chance. Actually... before I do my exhaust. =p Can you get a sound clip of your car? I have the Borla exhaust, but with stock headers/y-pipe. I want to hear the Borla with the header/y-pipe work done to it. Thank you. I'll try to edit this video of my car that me and a friend did a few days ago. You can hear my Borla pretty good I think...
