Bras

Anyone know where the best place to get a bra for my 2002 SS? I need it for the trip to Michigan. I dont want my dual glossed grill or front nose to get all nicked.

No idea. I hope atleast you take it off when you get there. If I see it on im gonna cry.

Knowklew 06-11-2006 09:21 PM

Frederick's of hollywood has some good ones too

Bras belong on the floor, not on your car

96camaro 06-11-2006 10:45 PM

Any auto parts store should have them or at least be able to order one. But yeah, take it off once you get off the highway, I don't like the look of those things at all.

camaro94 06-12-2006 02:44 AM

Those things are bad for your paint. Putting it or even taking it off you may damage your paint with a scratch. You're better off just not getting one at all. But if you do, I'd consider it a permanent fixture.

BINGO!

2000v6cam 06-12-2006 03:03 AM

i would not get it for anything they jacked up my hood and paint and if u have a good paint job u want to protect i would be really careful in finding a good one if u decide to because a cheap one will do more damage than good.

97z2801ss 06-12-2006 10:19 AM

theres a clear tapeish bra u can get that dont hurt the paint

blue89vert 06-12-2006 02:46 PM

if your worried about your front end getting chipped or whatever just drive in reverse the whole way there.

CHINGON 06-12-2006 07:25 PM

lol I love how everyone hates bras :D

paarman97maro 06-12-2006 07:28 PM

no offense, but they just dont look good on fbodies. I dont really like them either... it just takes so much away from the car.

Its like wearing a mask on half your face... youll look like a retard.

V6Cam 06-12-2006 09:10 PM

my way of thinking...if you have a bra on the car you should have a pair of knockers painted under the bra...thats how i have always felt about them, i feel they take to much away from the car, and they look god lucky...

but would you rather scratch it? I don't want mine to get nicked up either, my paint on the whole car is only a month old. But I still wouldn't risk a bra. But its up to you. :ne_nau:

paarman97maro 06-13-2006 10:45 PM

Fab somthing up to go over your grill... An old shirt or somthing..

Laugh, it may look gay, but so would a bra... Its just for protection.

subliminal1284 07-01-2006 11:20 PM

Duplicolor has a spray on bra, I havent used it but they advertise it comes off with just soap and water.

When I bought my 94 Z it had a bra on it. When I took it of to give its first wash I was horrified what was under that bra it look like some one was get ready to paint it the nose of the poor It was scuffed up like some one used 1000 grit sand paper on it.
