? on chip programming?

I have a hypertech chip for my current car. I was wondering is there a way to take the programming from that chip, and copy it to another chip somehow? Also if there is, does anyone know who can do it ? Thanks.

I doubt it can be done by the average person, but someone I am sure could do it...

sure it's possible, but miss any line of code (even a spelling error) and you may have toasted a motor
