You'll want to talk to Grant(MeenZ28) on here. He's done it himself and the car looks 100x better now.

MeenZ28 08-22-2006 06:55 PM

hehehehe thanks. See sig. I'll anwser any question you have

Str8upChevy 08-22-2006 07:06 PM

Yep, Grant's definitely your man. I doubt many others here would be able to give you more insite as to whatever questions you would have than he could.

quite the story for quite the car

2000v6cam 08-23-2006 03:34 AM

yea it seems like a big job, but i think it made grants car look great for example

DCCamaro22 08-24-2006 08:59 AM

Yea, Grants definately the man to talk to. Also, hate to bring up another forum, but www.camarov6.com has a decent write up with some details on how to do the conversion. If I was you I'd find it and ask Grant to check out that write up and tell you what he thinks about it, but I'd definately take his word over that post, cause you can see he knows what he is talking about.

MeenZ28 08-30-2006 10:32 PM

I feel special. Of course, i wouldnt start the way i did if you can help it. Putting the car into a concrete post is probably not the best thing to do. LOL

FORCE_FED_Z 08-30-2006 10:38 PM

No, but it works if you are undecided if you should leave it the way it is or do the conversion..it kinda makes the decision for you!!

If you need someone to wreck your car for you let me know- I call dibs on crashing it-

MeenZ28 08-30-2006 10:41 PM

I think i deserve it. The chance to crash something and NOT have to worry about fixing it would be a nice change.

steveo0224 09-14-2006 03:58 PM

i am in the process of doing this conversion right now and it seems to be fairly simple

MeenZ28 09-14-2006 06:40 PM

It is fairly straight forward, The hardest part is making sure all the parts line up right. The gaps in the fenders and hood is something i'm still working with.
