Coolant Light

My coolant light periodically comes on. I have added it, and can't find a leak anywhere!!!! I was even worried it may be a sympton of a possible or soon to be blown head gasket but the oil checked out clean, no coolant in it at all. So I don't what the major malfunction is? Anyone have any ideas? I heard that this is a common problem with LT1's, i dunno know.

Do you consistently go thru a little bit of coolant or does it stay full?

If it stays full your sensor might just be going bad is all...

take it out and clean it or get a new one. chances are you DONT have low coolant.

ya, thats what i was thinking, the sensor is just probably bad. I don't now all that much about cars so I thought I would see what you guys had to say. Thanks!!!!

I would personally drain your system of that dex-cool. I've personally seen what it does to the insides of motors, its not too pretty..
