D@mn the luck.....
Looks like I am leaking copious amounts of engine coolant. I was getting my oil changed (thats right, I pay someone to do it, I'm lazy and its cold here right now), and they showed me where I had Dexcool sticking to the underside of my car. They checked some kind of plug, said it was fine, and suggested that I might need to get a new water pump / fix the current one. ****.
If thats the case, I am going to get an electric water pump and free up some horsepower if possible. Any suggestions? |
Not much to suggest, if you want an electric water pump the meisure(sp) heavy duty one.

not many electric ones are suitable for street use they burn up fast

I got a buddy of mine from the car club who is a F-Body guru (he built a 383 LT1 that runs low 11s ).....hopefully he can figure out whats wrong. |
you just have to be careful witht eh electric (they can also cost horsepower if you have too many other electrical components since they draw power away from the ignition)
