Decision made

Ok, so i have decided to go with the 3.73 gears in the back end of my 3.4l 6er, and while i've read online that this can give me something like a 21% increase in rearwheel torque, i was wondering how true is that statement, and what does that mean for my acceleration? thanks any input is welcome.

All changing the gear ratio does is increase bottom end. Basically, you're going to go through the gears faster, and see a little more 'umph' when you hit the accelerator. However, the downside to that is, on highway you'll be running higher RPM's.

Yeah, exactly what Phate said. Youre not going to lose acceleration at all, its going to shift through gears faster.
