direct swap?
 

As you might know i broke my rear end and I was just wondering if a rear end out of a 4th gen will work. . I need to know b/c I can get one for $75 out of a bargain finder. I found out its the whole rear end not just the gear; axles and all. Will this fit my cars suspension and everything with no mods or will the internals at least work?

it will bolt right in but it is i think 4" wider( 2 inches each side) and will make the wheels stick out futher... unless you buy some 4th gen wheels

Will the rear end being wider look stupid? Or would you even notice it?

you would notice it but it would just amke it a little wider... prolly not stupid wide just wide

Define a little, if i remember correclty itll stick out 2"s on each side with the same backspaced wheels.
