DriveLine Problems
Im Working on my 91 rs and i just installed a 35o turbo and i need some help on the rearend now its the stock on it has the stablizer bar that runs from the rearend to the back of the transmission and i need help on how to remove that so it does not bang on the floor board i know i need it so the axle wont twist upwards and snap my ujoints what would you say i needed Traction Bars or what?????
it just bolts on, and should be able to bolt to your tailshaft
Driveline
Im Assuming thats the case if the turbo 350 came out of another camaro but this turbo 350 does not have bolt holes or anything towards the tailshaft the speed shop says i can use traction bars to replace that bar but i wanna be sure....
traction bars may help, but will cost more than a tail shaft for the trans (you'll want to do a full rear suspension to make traction bars work, not to mention at a junk yard a tail shaft is probably under $30) the speed shop was trying to get your money
so to get a tail shaft do i just ask them for a tailshaft off of a camaro or will i have to get the housing and everthing switched out???
just a tailshaft, 4 bolts and a gasket
....
so a 700r4 tailshaft will interchange on a turbo 350 transmission
I forgot you had a turbo 350, but I think it does
some early 3rd gens had th350s w/ the TQ arm.
Or there are some conversion kits that are a bracket that mounts to the th350 to hold the TQ arm Or you can get a chassis mounted TQ arm that relocated the front mount to a seperate crossmember. |
where
where can i get one of the kits that bolts to the 350
