Dyno'd my Camaro for the first time

2 Attachment(s)
dyno'd on a Dyno Dynamics dyno

265 hp
270 torque

I did three runs all were in 2nd gear pulls, I guess third gear would show a 5hp difference but it would down shift when trying third gear.

1. 265.4hp
2. 265.1hp
3. 265.2hp

This dyno also has 130 resistance on the dyno for real world ground power and shows lower #'s then what a dynojet would show, I have seen other F-Bodies dyno from the two diff dyno's and its about a 30whp difference in them, so im confident that if I ran on a dynojet it would be 295whp. But Im not dissapointed, it helps for base #'s and time for me to get a tune, LS6 intake manifold and some LT's and hopefully I will put over 300hp down on this dyno. :D I will post up a pic of my #'s!

Exactly, with just an intake and LT's my car put down 323rwhp and 333rwtq so they will open up quite a bit of power.

yea but like I said it was a 2nd gear pull, because if you tried it in third it would downshift and mess up on the dyno (saw that in person), to get my true #'s i need a 3rd gear pull...but I would show 290whp on a dynojet...this dyno puts a load on the vehicle so it reads lower. But 265 is not bad to start with.

Wow, I did not know that you could do a dyno pull in second or third.....I know on a DynoJet they do them in fourth 1:1....I must have a freak of a car, mine with just LT's, Borla, and stock intake put down 337/344:)
