after some look i removed it , only to find out that it was split in half..because of the rust...so i order a new egr valve...i repleaced the gasket and put the egr valve in... but now it is very hard to start. and idle very rufly...if i give it some gaz it die as soon as i touch the gaz...and then awake a gain..and finaly die in a sucking air sound !!!!!everything is plug back like it should be....i have try to unplug the battery...i try with out the electrical connector on the egr, pluged...i even try with noting on it!!!! i have no check engine light at all

multiple posts are not necessary. someone will answer as soon as they can figure it out IF they can figure it out. my EGR was bad in my camaro but it always ran like a champ another thing i never replaced. just all emissions crap isn't it? well hopefully someone can help you and a mod can delete your other thread, that says the exact same thing

EGR stands for Exhaust Gas Re-circulation valve, it just trys to reburn unspent fuel before it exits the exhaust, its purely emissions related, and I doubt it has anything to do with your problem. As per what you described, I havnt the faintest. That is a very wide variety of problems that can come from many many sources.

If you had the battery unhooked then the computer has to "learn" what to do again. It may not run at first and do exactly what you described; at least from my own experience.
