LOL OMG, electric super charger, that kills the look, no BIG belt i wouldnt by them if they were 300 bucks or had made same amount of power..

ScreaminRedSS 09-21-2005 08:23 AM

:lolsign: ive seen one in person

loochy88 09-24-2005 07:53 PM

that one is junk

boat bilge pumps is what they are for the most part. they will actually restrict your intake.

this one however is a slightly different story, but i wouldnt say it is worth it. for the money you could have a traditional sc or turbo...

http://www.boosthead.com/

the idea of electric forced induction is an interesting one, but noone as of yet has done it right. it would be added power without any turbo lag, or any parasitic loss... maybe eventually... who knows?

archemedes 09-24-2005 09:54 PM

the problem with the electric ones is the charging system can only do so much, on an older car without all the electronics, and add a big alternator it may work alright (although there are few electric motors that can spin fast enough to give much boost and not weigh a ton, or not break)

they actuly do add more hp still dont buy them it is really stuped.

there is a vid someware with someone puting a leafblower on a car and it worked to add about 15hp

it's fake, there was a guy who did it and showed how restrictive they are (cut airflow by 60%) and they don't move as much air as driving 55 mph does

JJhirsch 10-18-2005 01:46 AM

how does speed have anything to do with air going in to the motor? (most cars dont have air dams or ram air)

but i get what u are saying the dyno probly got that house power because it was acting as like if it was going faster
