Fuel tank sending unit
 

I know ive posted about this before but I did some research and found something interesting.

In this thread on camarov6.com, someone found just the sending unit part, not the whole pump assy.

GM parts direct has it for $67.60 not over 300 like the whole assy. Is this the part I need, will this fix my always full or empty gas tank gauge?
