Good Deal?
 

My girlfriend's uncle has a 94 Z28 he's trying to get rid of. I know that the whole front is new, except a crack in the front bumper from where they put it on the dolly. The car needs a new distributor. But, the car has no title. He offered to sell it to me for $1 K....even a little less. I would love to just buy and and take it to the drag strip...it's a big jump from my current car (95 3.8 v6) and the insurance would be killer... Any ideas?

Why doesnt it have a title? I wouldnt buy it if it didnt, it could come up stolen then you have nothin to show for it and your out of 1k then.

Yea, that's what I was wondering too. It does have all the parts I need for my car though....front end, fenders, hood, dash...hell even the engine and tranny. I dunno i'll let you guys know after I look at it.

it had 185 K miles on it, messed up front end...and still no title. he dropped the price to 800 but we're still not sure....we mght get antoehr 72, this ones a RS though for 1200 or 2500 i dont remember...

**** i would take it for 800 if you have the money to spare... I agree with you can make that much back with parts... Or use the body for parts, Id love to have a parts car... You could always experiment on that car first.

yea for 800 i would just use it as a parts car and strip everything off it

I'd love to buy it and take the engine and put it in my car....but that would be a lot of work and i don't think i'd use the current tranny (185 K miles) and i doubt my current one would work (a4 in a 3.8 v6)

v6 and v8 have diffrent bolt patterns so it wouldnt, 185k, id have it rebuilt to be on the safe side but it wouldnt be a bad deal bro

no title and that many miles it's a $500 car at best, the engine will probably need rebuilt, and no title means it was probably a total, and sold as salvage (basically it's a junk yard save)
