you think this converter is good enough...i mean the brand. I know its not the most expensive but they mostly all flow the same right? i mean how different could one be from another. Does the length really matter??? 14" seems kinda small and the next longest one is 20 dollars more...help please i want to order one friday

Yea we have emissions but only in southeastern WI and it sucks if your car aint brand new its a ***** to get through :(

Mike Jones 09-28-2006 02:42 PM

Yeah all of southeastern WI has emissions. I had to get my car custom tuned and take it to the Waukesha north station where I met a guy I met on a forum that made sure I passed. Without it I wouldn't have passed since I don't have cats, EGR, or AIR.
My car is now registered in Eagle River so I won't have to worry about emission on the Camaro again.

blue89vert 09-28-2006 06:48 PM

ok...well i have emmisions. so can somebody just answer my damn question

MetalliCamaro 09-28-2006 07:22 PM

Lol, yes its bigger than what you need, it can handle a stock 400sb pretty easily.. its got the ceramic internals.. so you mash that out in a year or two when it plugs up.. :)

blue89vert 09-28-2006 07:30 PM

mmk thanks
doesn't look like ill be ordering it this week now...lol my clutch cable snapped on my blaster and i need it replaced asap. so yea idk how much those cost but w/e...soon enough

would i be able to just plug the AIR tube coming out of the cat?

MetalliCamaro 09-28-2006 07:36 PM

I ripped that all out of mine.. but we dont have emmission here.. I kept everything, but the Cat, and the tube.. air pump is still there.. in 40 years my car will be worth something....
