HELP!!!1993 Firebird ASAP

Can sumone help me out. I have a 1993 Firebird that had a 3.4L v6 with automatic. I need to know if i can buy a Vortec 350 and it work in my bird. And also i need sum1 to tell me if i need another trans. or will the 350 bolt up to my trans that had my v6 on it. Can anyone tell me BY LIST of wat i should/need to do. I know i need to upgrade suspension, and i also need to put a better rear end gear ratio in it. and Duels. But I want to take my v6 out and put a v8 in. Preferably the vortec 350 but if i must ill drop an old skool carbarated 350 in it. easier than to deal with fuel injection. But Do i need to buy a trans. with my 350 or will it bolt up to my v6's old trans. Input anyone?

It would be way cheaper and easier to get a 93-95 trans am.

insurance is only cheaper if it's full coverage in most areas, and on a car that old full coverage won't cover it

check with your agent before you talk about insurance rates. when i was 16 i could have bought a Z28 and only gone up $8.00 from my V6 so it all depends on your insurance
