ughhh im going to hold out for a bit to be honest i just found a bunch of lt1 T-56 3000-4500 for both. ugh this is a tough to decide. i still think ill just cam it im happy with the V6 and with only 15000km on it its worth getting some wear and tear out of it. think i might wait anthor month shop around hen decide. if you know any good places to look around please do share, ive checked out zzp performance and a few others.
Oh and went to the liabary today checked out some books found a step by step guild on a cam intall and etc.

I dont blame you for taking time to think about it. Modding a v6 costs alot of money and work for very little gain. I love my v6 now, because I can outrun some v8's and get that "wow" factor.

If you do decide to do it, send me a message and we can talk about possible cam/head combos etc. Regardless of what you do, do it right the first time, and have fun!

Indeed I do (A little customized for my personal setup, but the same heads yes). Thats a good package for the money. That kit provides everything you need to make substantial power from that cam. Keep in mind, you'll HAVE to have it tuned before its drivable with that setup. Dyno-tuned is prefered, mail order tunes are iffy with that much lift and powerband.

I just re-read the thread and noticed i've mentioned tuning like 10 times. Sorry if I keep repeating myself, its just a habit when I respond to certain things to mention what most people forget, so they dont run into the same problems myself and others have.

Well, I somewhat cheated. I have a friend with the computer system to modifiy the codes in my ECM, and he just deleted every possible code I was throwing so I can inspect it.

I honestly dont know how its going to run with your setup. With mine, I have the nitrous system, and 37lbs injectors, so I have alot of fuel going in, and mine runs a little rich. But I also dont have cats.

You may or may not need O2 simulators. But I would definately recommend getting these as soon as time/money allows: Intake, Exhaust, Headers, Posi unit, (and gear it if you want to). I personally would not drive an fbody without a shortshifter now that i've had one so long. Its like night and day the difference between them, if nothing else, it just makes you 'feel' like a racecar driver ;)
