Hm...question.
Would it be worth it to sell my 1997 and get like...a 93 z28?
Cause i figure i can sell my car for a little over 4 grand, and im sure i can find a 93 Z for around that much...considering ive found several 95 Z's for 5 grand.

you'll be able to find 94 -95 lt1s for 4 or 5ish

I would recommend a 94 or 95 Z to buy if you are lookin to do a lot of performance stuff. They have a little less emissions BS to get around and are a little cheaper as well.
I picked up mine for 5500 but I was very particular in what I wanted. I saw several Z's go on ebay for around 3 grand or so- they would make a good platform to start with.

i dont know i've been considering this for a long time. if your parents dont care how much insurance is. GET A Z!!!!! thats the only thing stopping me right now. my dad will only pay my insurance if i have a v6. so i'm screwed till i can afford that. but you, i say go for it. and a 97 can get about 6 or 7 thousand...my friend payed 12000 for his 97 that he crashed...yes, he overpaid, but it shows you can get a lot more than 4 grand.
