how to keep your cat from walking on your car

ok, i wash my car and get it all nice and clean and my ******* cat jumps up and puts dirt prints all over it, not to mention scratches. i get very angry considering my paintjob is brand new. so how do you guys keep your cats/other things off your car:(

My cat is strictly indoors so I don't have to worry about it.

Kill the cat...? Mine is indoors aswell, so I don't have to worry.

But to be honest I have no idea what you would do to keep the stupid cat from jumping on the car.

The only way I've found that really works is to blast em with a water hose. Seeing as you've got fresh paint it's probably not a good idea because they usually peel out as they're scurrying off the car. Park a crappy car out there and spray him off of that one. Of course, that only takes care of your cat...there's always the neighbor's cats and they typically only come around at night.

well as much as i would like to kill the cat... its probably not a good idea. last time i caught him on my car i picked him up and booted him at least 10 feet, but apparently that didnt stop him because he still does it.

That's great. Next time aim the cat at the street when you kick.

hahaha i dont know wtf to do either. every time my car is in the garage somehow my cat gets out there and walks all over my car. i thought it was funny cause it was right after i was sanding my hood and they were all over the windshield. but after i paint my car i would kick its ***. idk what to tell you dude

Car cover, then put mouse traps under newspaper. It will cure it. When we had a cat it used to go on the counters which pissed me off, we did that and it made a ton of noise and scared the crap out of the cat. Never did it again and walked around that area and never near it again. Was funny, the cat was freaked and was always looking over his shoulder when he passed by there. I clapped my hands once when he was by it and he jumped up out of his skin and hid for a couple of hours.
