How Often

I just went all out cleaning my car. I washed it, clay bar'd it, did the Meguir's three step proccess(swirl remover, polish, wax,), used the detail spray, etc... Took me a couple hours and the car looks great. But how often do I need to do all this? It was really a time consuming proccess and I normally won't have this kind of time to do it.

haha.. I ask myself this all the time because it takes me a while also. I usually do it about once a month... It should shine for a while.

I have the instant detail spray that you're suppose to use in between waxing to quote "give it that just waxed look"

Use my special formula before the wax. You should be good for quite awhile. I do mine maybe once a month. Well befor the paint job.

Take warm water. Add The shampoo Pantene pro-v two in one. Add about 1/4 cup olive oil to the water and shampoo

Jpack... Im going to give you props... I dont think Ive ever had my car cleaner. That little recipe you gave is perfect, and I recommend it to anyone. Ill admit, it sounded a little crazy, and I was skeptikal, but damn! it turned out nice as hell! Then I waxed it, and it was even better... Its been almost 2 weeks now, and its rained a few times, and my car still looks clean. Great recommendation! Thanks!

Mike Jones 06-02-2006 01:05 AM

Thanks, I'll have to do that next time I wash the car.

paarman97maro 06-02-2006 06:48 AM

Yes, it still looks clean... despite the 8000 bugs on my front bumper from driving home.

i haven't washed my car in the longest time....it just sits there with the cover on now and half the body parts off of it...sad

as long as you have wax on the car you wont get any swirl marks washing your car. the wax is a protectant against that stuff. so just put a fresh coat of wax on it every week or every other week and you'll be good for quite a while

BLLDOGG 06-25-2006 01:03 PM

Just remember, The products that say "give it that just waxed look", don't necessarily protect like wax.
