Hypertech chip
 

I am thinking about getting this hypertech power chip i saw on ebay. It is for my cars exact specs but i was wondering if it was worth it and what improvements i would see. I can probably get it for like $30

i have one and the stock one... i cant tell the difference and with the hypertech u need premium fuel... not worth it...

so should i not get it even for that cheap?

all it does is turn the fans on earlier, and richen the fuel a bit, it also changes the timing advance a little, but not real noticable (that's why the premium fuel) adjust base timing a bit and you'll get a bit better than the chip gives normally

I got a custom chip and i noticed a HUGE difference. But a hypertech chip i would not recommend.

LSRacingchips.com. But i actually drove to the guys garage and got a custom chip/dyno tune.

you had tuned port injection didn't you, i cant get one of those

302hp or so to the rear wheels. But i also had the Holley Stealth Ram intake on it and all the other mods. 5.7ltre

thats a lot for a 3rd gen

yeah, quite abit of mods too :P

Do yourself a favor and dont buy an off the shelf one
