just remember a carfax report can be wrong as they only reprot things that have gone to the dmv (you can do the same report with your state usually just ask if it ever had a salvage title)

or if it's a dealer 99% of them already have an account make them run it and print it out for you

I used one for Epic - came up clean. Found out later she was a company car before me and had a rear end accident (the paint made me suspious). Carfax never knew any of that.
