i want 450hp

i just bought a 95z and i wanted some ideas on what to do. I really wanted to buy a supercharger in the 4000 dollar range preferably a vortech. i read some previous forms but couldnt find anything that helpful. Thanks

look at the member forcefedz he has a nice setup that's dyno proven. The 450 horse isn't too hard if you do everything right.You'll need to change the cam and add an intercooler.The trans may be a little weak, then the rearend. make sure and upgrade the brakes also (you may be able to go real fast, but eventually you have to stop)

Procharger advertises around 450 flywheel horse with the base kit. DO NOT push more than 9lbs of intercooled boost thru it and only 6lbs of non-intercooled.

Right now my car puts down 465 RWHP on only 6 lbs only pullin to 5400 rpm. I posted my dyno sheets before and you can see that they do nothing but climb which shows there is a TON of potential with the setup as soon as it gets more fuel.

If you have a mostly stock motor, the blower kit from ATI should put you right around 370-390 RWHP depending on other mods.

This winter should be the golden age of ponies for me so I should be able to answer more questions this spring about the set-up and what works and what doesn't.
