Enjoy!

3 inch cat back, 40 series flowmaster muffler, and 3 1/2" magnaflow tips. :) it has 2.5" on the left exhaust bend, but it will def make an improvement over stock.

Bernotas05 05-03-2008 03:45 AM

I'm not a huge fan of flowmasters on F-Bodys, But yes It will definatly be a big different in sound over stock. I bought a flowmaster setup for cheap when I first go my formula, it sounded pretty good but I decided to change to a SLP loudmouth and I love it.

Congrats though you will love that LS1 a lot more with the added exhaust.

98CamaroZ28 05-03-2008 03:49 AM

thanks, yea I bet I will notice a bit of a difference, the stock exhaust is so restrictive in sound and flow...this is my temp set up untill I can get my SLP one of these days.\

My friend is running SLP straight pipes basically, no cats, no resignator, no muffler, pacesetter long tubes, 3" y-pipe, LS6 intake manifold, full PCM tune, and now is going to run 32# injectors. His camaro is so loud, it sounds r-tarded loud, as in plug your ears loud, but it sounds so damn good! omg.

First95 05-03-2008 12:16 PM

Cool, despite what everyone says, I like my 40 series cat-back.

2000supersportmaro 05-03-2008 04:03 PM

Ya just to give you guys a update... i am getting the flowmaster back and its a 40 series... that flow as much or more than magnaflow remember its a single chamber... the SLP LM straight pipe were just 2 damn loud i got a warning from my apartments for just starting up my car... soo i am sellin the slp pipes and getting a resonator for him... my car with the flowmaster was LOUD as it was... I think tonight after the exhaust stuff we are going to do a little run!

98CamaroZ28 05-03-2008 08:35 PM

yea, its crazy, I cant believe im now getting SLP exhaust...wow!

The loudmouth will sound really good on your car. Without having a ton of engine mods it isn't to loud but sounds great.

Although I had it on my car with longtubes and an off road ypipe but I'm a little crazy when it comes to exhausts. The louder the better.

beastlycamaro 05-03-2008 10:08 PM

yea it will sound good on the car. it looks in good shape to

But very nice, sounds good

paarman97maro 05-05-2008 08:12 PM

I think thats condensation..

Well, doesnt have anything to do with your cats. Ive never heard of unburnt fuel coming out of the exhaust... if thats happening, I think you have some other major issues haha. I find it pretty hard for gas to come in contact with fire and not burn lol.

It could Happens, leaky injectors.

2000supersportmaro 05-06-2008 11:57 AM

remember the liquid is not flamable... its the fumes... my dad's 1968 Shelby GT500 had to run on airplane fuel... and if there is enough of a little bits of unburnt fuel it will accumulate and be shot out the tail pipes... the GT500 did that... ahhh airplane fuel... Good stuff!

98CamaroZ28 05-07-2008 01:19 AM

ahaha nice!
