Low Oil Light?
 

Just for curiosity sake I was wondering how low on oil do you have to be for the warning light to come on?

enough to check it, I think it's 1.5 quarts (barely on the stick basically)

I think its lower than that-I would say more like at least 2 quarts low if not more.

Is there a particular reason you are askin?

mine was all the way down on the dipstick and my oil guage was reading fine and now light came on.

the sensor is fairly notorious for going bad 9from reading forums it doesn't nmatter what kind of car it is all of them have the issue)
