Lt1 Alum heads vs. Cast Heads
 
i found a lt1 out of a caprice for $500 it has cast heads to where the lt1 in the camro is aluminum. im wanting to build an engine and i was goin to us the short block from the caprice to speed things up. can i put my aluminum heads on the block? nething goin to be different?

x3.lol. but you might want to try something with those Cast heads cause EVERYONE knows cast flow better than aluminum, hopscotch and yea.lol. either way if you do valvetrain and headwork it will be a monster:)

I thought I heard that a couple years had the 'baby' LT1 in the Caprice's. But I am assuming that we know its the 350 so its a common practice..

In fact I just happen to have a set of stock alum heads in my shop that have sitting around for a while, waiting to be used..PM me if you are interested...
