LT1 ignition question

I have an Idea about this but I need someone to verify it for me. I need someone to explain which wire coming from the coil is the positive, which one is negative and what the third wire is for. My coil has three wires coming out of it:
1) Pink wire (which I think is the positive)
2) Pink wire w/ a black line (which I think is the negative)
3) White wire w/ black stripe (which I think is the tach wire)

I am hooking up my new Mallory ignition and I just want to make sure before I make all the final connections. Thanks!!

I know the tach wire is right, and normally gm does a black stripe for negative

Does anyone know a website that I could go to just to make sure??

i recently hooked up a mallory vi-al on my 94z 6spd and i can tell u now that both pink wires are hot and the white is negative. To make the install easier u should buy the msd wiring harness for that car.All i had to do was plug mine in and that was that.I also brought the msd coil then i put my ignition on top of the intake.(couldnt think of a better spot)
