LT1 Install Pics

Well...Here they are. For those who don't know, I purchased one of Harris Speed Works Brute Force Wet Nitrous Kits and all the supporting and safety mods. I custom ordered all the hoses black with black AN fittings including SS black lines for the dual purge. I have the heated bottle mounted on the transmission tunnel and the line runs under the car along side of the fuel lines so that it exits under the hood in the stock location. I do not like the way most people mount the nitrous noids on top of the Intake, so I came up with my own solution as seen here. The noids are nice and beefy and the fuel noid has a FPSS attached with the line running back to the schrader valve. The nozzle is drilled and tapped into a modified Trick Flow elbow with 100Hp jetting. The WOT switch is mounted on the bottom bolt of the Holley throttle body via a Jimmy Jams bracket. For some more safety I also installed NGK TR6 spark plugs and a Mallory 685 Ignition Box to take care of more spark, Window switch and a timing retard.

The only things I have to finish is the dual purge routing, mounting the nitrous filter and wiring for the bottle heater. The heater is on hold due to a battery relocation in the near future. Those things are going to have and wait until my next set of days off. Don't mind my interior...it is all ripped out for some more mods that are on the way. Anywho...enough talking. Let me know what you guys think.

I love that bottle bracket. You're forcing me to buy one now, you know that?

thats awesome

I am in the process of trying to score a DynoTune digital nitrous pressure guage. Even if I can't get a good used one, I will still be picking one up even if I have to pay full price. The fuel is coming from the schrader valve.

Phate : You won't regret it. I just put it on the other day and I have already gotten about five compliments. The guys at the speed shop where I filled my bottle wanted to buy it from me on the spot:nana:

are you gonna go with the square or round gauges? i have the square fuel pressure and nitrous pressure gauges mounted on the bottom of the A pillar. they are completely out of the way and are sooooo helpful. i love it.

Sinister95Z 05-12-2007 11:00 AM

I am going to go with the blue led round version mounted in my A-pillar guage pod. Eventually I will also get a fuel pressure guage mounted somewhere as well, but I have to save up for my new tranny first.
