lt1 or ls1

i been wanting to buy a camaro with an lt1 or ls1 for a couple of months now but wasnt sure if it was worth spending the extra money for the 98 just because it has the ls1? Can somebody help

The money is well worth gettin a ls1, i test drove a 94 Z28 before I test drove the car i curently have and there is no comparison, the ls1 was stock and the lt1 had a intake and cat-back exhaust. I'd definatly save and get a ls1...

the ls1 is worth more simply because it's newer, a 2000 v6 is worth more than a '96 v6 for the same reason.The lt1 has a major design flaw (the optispark), the ls seems to be the future engine of choice for gm
