Muffler?

What does everyone think of this muffler? Unfortunitly I don't know what to expect from different muffler's in building my side exhaust.
I know I like the sound of the Managaflow catback but I don't know which muffler they use and I was wondering what this one would sound like.
Basicly what I'm looking for is to get rid of the rasp I have with open headers and quite it down some but I want a really deep agressive sound without the hallow tone you get from flowmaster.

Edit: I added some other mufflers to help give an assortmant of ideas. Thanks guys and gals.

Chad if you go with one of the dynomax mufflers let me know, I might be able to help you out on price.

What do they sound like? I've never heard one and have no idea. Are they a lot like Flowmaster's?

RFF 11-14-2005 09:19 PM

Hard to describe, IMO they have much better and especially a cleaner sound when compared to flow masters.

Do you think they'd give off a nice deep tone with LT header's and no cats?

Pretty much, I'm building an X pipe in the middle though.

Chad i have a dynomax muffler on my car. when you drive around a little higher then idle it sounds SO good. about 50 yards away going down the street or parking lot you can hear it growl, it sounds sweet, i threw it on my car as a cheap alternative to a catback and it ended up being what i think is the best sounding exhaust for an LT1 at least, besides a chambered exhaust. would prolly sound great on a true dual LS1.

NCamaro94 11-14-2005 10:24 PM

is there any on ls1sounds.com ?

69z-28 11-14-2005 10:32 PM

this is a dynomouth, same thing just has the loud mouth rear section with a bullet no SLP resonator.http://ls1sounds.com/Dynomouth/dynomouth_sample.wmv

Should sound real good then. Let me know which muffler you want and I can see what I can do on my end.
