My dual stage set up

Since there was some question about dual stage nitrous set ups in Sinister's thread, I thought I'd show ya'll what mine looks like.

Stage 1: 50 dry shot at WOT
Stage 2: 75 wet shot at 3000-6000 rpm

Total of a 125 dry/wet shot.

"Custom" dual trigger system  I didnt have to have 2 WOT switches, but I thought it looked much cleaner than piggy-backing onto the extisting switch IMO.

My original set up was a single 100 wet shot at 3000 rpm that gave me a best 1/8 time of 9.04 @ 79 mph 2.26 60' (~low 14's in the 1/4)

The new dual stage got me 8.68 @ 79 mph 2.05 60' :D (~mid 13's in the 1/4)

BTW, this setup only cost me $32.00 cuz it was mostly built with spare parts in my tool box

Nice setup!

Nice times. The best part about the setup is the price! I couldn't even get my purge lines for the price of your kit. Definetly nice work.

Shodown, I thought yours was almost as modded as mine?

Im running 12.8 in the 1/4th right now, well... I did before the new tranny and swapping from 4.10's to 3.73's...

Nah, Im running completely stock motor, i.e. cam, valvetrain, heads, bottom end. I only have 3.42 gears as well. My goal has always been mid 13's, and Im pretty sure I've got that now, I just have to find time to get to a 1/4 track and find out for sure.

If I have the money and motivation next fall, Im gonna get 4.10's, 3500 stall and a new tune then go for high 12's, but I dont know if that'll happen or not. Only time will tell. :)

Interesting. For some reason I always thought yours was highly modded.

If you daily drive it, i'd recommend 3.73's and not 4.10's, I just ditched my 4.10's cause I cant drive it on the highway for over 30 mins before the oil pressure starts dipping. (Thats also mostly due to my large cam).

But, I like your nitrous setup, mine is a little less advanced, just a straight WOT 125 wet shot.
