It sounds good but out of curiousity why would you get a v6 not just go all the way and get the 8

long answer: bla bla bla bla...

short answer: money

regardless, when i finally get out of college (read: im still young) im going to be getting something with a couple extra cylinders (most likely an fbody... maybe a black or nbm SS circa 01 or 02)

yeh, you have a good looking 6, What do you run with that nitrous set up??? How much of a shot you pushing? Thing sounded almost just like my 6, only yours sounds better. Keep up the good work.

the z28 uses the same basic rear end as the v6 (just different gear ratio) it's also the same basic one as the s10

But the Z28 rear end also has the limited slip while the V6 has an open carrier. I put a rear end off a TA into my V6. It was cheaper than buying the differential by itself. Plus it had 3.73's installed so all the better.
