Need more specs, What year? what model? color? pics?

Sounds pretty good, nothing like that feeling of your frist drive in your ls1. Low coolant light? Should have made the owner get that **** fixed before you bought it.

whitecamaro96 08-18-2007 08:02 PM

thats awsome man

Mike Jones 08-18-2007 09:49 PM

Glad to hear you got it.

And you sound just like me when I first bought my LS1. When I took it for a test drive I swung the rear end out pretty bad with the salesman in the seat right next to me holding on.

FrYd-RyS 08-18-2007 10:59 PM

i havent done that im driving like a smart person. The exhaust weld was broke in back. i jacked up the car and my friends dad welded it back on. but something in the middle of the car (the exhaust where it curves under the drivers seat) is still banging pretty bad. gotta get it re jacked and looked at.. fun fun

yep the rear seat bottoms arnt actually attached. the guy just recently put those seats in (the covers) and he didnt havea certain tool to connect leather to the bottoms of the back seat he said a hardware store would have this tool. now i dont remember the name of it.

Problems..
1. I need a tool to connect leather to seats. And how do the seats fasten down?
2. Low coolant light comes on but coolant is full (sensor)?
3. Exhaust is making a horrible banging noise under the center console. Fixed the rear weld. Is there a exhaust clamp possibly around there that could be broken?
4. I dont think the foglights work. (possible reasons)?

if someone could answer these question that would be spectacular.

thanx

1. You need to attach the cloth to the seats or just bolt them in?
Since you were talking about the rear seats. They snap in on the rear then there is bolt under front part of the seat in the middle of each one to hold them in.
2. Sounds like a sensor indeed. Is your temp guage reading correctly?
3. Check where the cat-back is connecting to the Y pipe. Check the clamp or cracked welds if it was welded on. If thats loose it will bang around.
4. Foglight. Push the button to turn them on. Check bulbs. Check Fuse.

Thanks for calling me dumb :banghead: Haha
I didn't due it on purpose, the just had a lot more power than I was expecting.

As for your seats, are you talking about the bottom seats or the bottom of the back? Remember I have the same seat covers in my car so I can help you out.
