no muffler and it sounds nice I think...you need the right pipe set-up to make sure it doesn't sound to red-necky though

for awhile i was drivin around w/ dual cats and no muffler, i thought it sounded nice. pretty similar to how it sounds now w/ the lm, actually it was probably deeper w/ no muffler

i have just no muffler, all other stock exhaust tho. it sounds pretty cool, and theres not many other cars ive heard that sound like it. its pretty loud, but the coolest thing i think about it, is when u let off or downshift and theres soem load on the drivetrain, it makes this popping noise, kinda like backfiring, but its just cause theres still unburned fuel with no muffler. i like it but i want less weight and shorter exhaust so it will be a little louder so im gonna change my exhaust soon. heres a diagram to show how it is right now. o one more thing, its pretty restrictive but you can do more of a Y like the loudmouth has instead of a T like i have. i have a sound clip but its bad, i plan on getting a better clip soon. ill post it as soon as i do.

I had the same 'T' setup in my old car. Its not all that restrictive but it could be better. And yes, I know about the popping sound, I like it. Mine would do it enough that it I could get it to pop flames out the back almost on demand!
