Oxidizing?

Any good recomendations on products that remove oxidation on paint? My dad's truck is getting bad on the hood and roof and I'm looking for advice short of a new paint job.

you need a paint cleaner/polish, like the ultimate paint cleaner that i use for my detailing business. It is easy to use, you would just apply it like a wax one section at a time and wipe off with a microfiber towel. it is quicker and easier with a porter cable random orbital buffer, but it can be done by hand no problem.

you can order the product at perfectautofinish.com

pm or email me if u have any questions

With my Porter Cable, I used Menzerna Intensive Polish on an Orange pad followed by Menzerna Finishing Polish on a white pad. Both on speed 3-4. Then follow it up w/ your favorite wax and you're golden
Here's a link w/ more pictures but the write up is still in progress as you can tell: http://specializedstainless.com/29901/32564.html

I got my stuff at autogeek.net

You can do it by hand, it's just easier w/ a machine.
