P0135, somewhat advanced tech question...

well my car has thrown this code a few times in the past few months and ive just kept disconnecting the battery or hooking it up to a scanner and clearing it. i havent had much time lately to get too deep into finding a solution, so i was wondering what might be some common problems that would cause this to go off. i beleive its the drivers side O2 heater circuit. car has LTs with 24" O2 extensions in the front, stock(or at least what came in the car) O2 sensors and O2 simms on the rear with an Offroad Y pipe. car has been tuned for rear O2 deletion anyways, cause i drove it with simms a few montsh before i got it tuned, but it hasnt given me trouble for the last year since i did the header job, but recently like last 2 months it throws this code randomly and will go away for a while. car sits outside and its pretty cold out right now, so idk if that has anything to do with it. i also drive in considerable amounts of snow. any thoughts or maybe some "duh, check this" ideas. TIA

Have you inspected the condition of the extensions? Try cleaning the conectors with some contact cleaner.

i plan on testing them sunday morning for a 12volt presence and also looking over the extensions like u said and possibly switching the O2s around to see if it is just that one O2 thats cuasing ****.

lol I like how you use the term "just gonna switch them around" so loosely. Thats such a ***** job, I hated getting the 02s in AND out.

its not biggy on my car. just gotta make sure i can crack them loose. once i do that, theyre cake to get out. in an easy local too.
