Question about Cherry Bomb Exhaust...

I have a 3.4 L V6 and was wondering if the Cherry Bomb Exhaust sound any good on Camaros, such as mine. I saw the red pipes in our local auto parts store and have been curious since. I was thinking of putting the Cherry Bomb on and getting a y splitter so that I have dual exhaust, then buying some exhaust tips seperately. Any ideas, suggestions, or any one that has heard them or had them installed, please reply. thanks!

Personally I don't think they sound good on most FBodies but for the 3.4 I think they'd sound especially bad.

i wouldnt go with cherry bombs on really any car if u can help it, it would probably be worth it to get a decent exhaust system i personally like the flowmaster even though many dont i tihnk they sound good on v6 if u get the american thunder system that has a resonator

ok well im not sure what exhaust i should go for to get a great sound for a low price... im kinda on a budget, so Borla is out of the question.

i would go flowmaster if i was u because alot of other systems make the v6 sound really raspy at high rpm

You could search eBay, a lot of times you'll find used rear section's for sale which'll give you the sound you want as well as the looks from the tips without the price.

Not the best sound in the world but better than a cherry bomb - http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Chevr...spagenameZWDVW

heh. just get a cutout and run it open all the time.

stock 3.4L with a cutout (i did this a long long time ago): http://camaro.adwire.com/modpics/idle.avi

"3.4/3100" (1996) camaro on dyno w/cutout: http://camaro.adwire.com/cardyno.avi

I Have them on my bronco and they sound like crap the one blew the packing out of it 2 months after i bought them, id highly suggest you dont get them.

I had one on my V6 and it sounded fine, more on the side of pretty good, actually. It all depends on what length the glasspack is. Mine had tons less rasp than the Loudmouth, and a nice sound at idle. Had a few compliments on it, but I wanted louder. For a quick, cheap sound, its a good deal. Just don't get the real short ones, they will give you more rasp, and less tone.
