So how is everyone doing with thier R1's, i believe i am going to purchase a set of 4 today :D yea now I can have better stopping power and jazz up the car a bit.

I'm not sure but the front rotors I have now might be R1's. If so I've been very happy with them as they've been on the car for two years with no problems whatsoever.

thats awesome, the rotors that my dad bought a couple years ago are rusting because they didnt have and paint or plating, so I am def gonna replace all 4 corners, the front rotors are still good but it leaves a lot of rust every where when they get wet...

Well any rotor that's been used will rust when they get wet really.

well the zinc plating or painted rotors dont rust around the middle of the rotor and mine do, I might be able to get a pic of the rust...its nasty, wasnt talking about the braking surface area.

I've had mine for a year and no problems.

Just bought them, how long did it take for shipping? I guess I will find out with UPS tracker. Im guessing a week to two weeks.

I have has mine for almost 2 years with no problems. It took them about 2 weeks to ship because of backorders.

I see, 2 weeks will be ok with me, time to go hard on my old rotors lol...

when I have friends in the car ill have to make sure I do a brake check to make sure everything is A-OK! ahahaha god im gonna be such a dick...

yup all 4 corners drilled and slotted zinc plated, diamond slots the whole 9 yards, its 168 with shipping! I handed my Dad 125$ and told him to take care of shipping and he called it a deal, now I have to mow my lawn to pay for shipping how lame...******...:banghead:

Lol I know all about that, but mowing isn't bad when your dad goes on a mid life crisis trip and buys a $6500 Gravely lawn mower. Yea I just check the link and those brakes are pretty much bad ***. My shipping was more expensive tho $48.26.

Yea I ****** noticed it finally after a month of being around and I guess about two weeks of being a member lol

well one your not gonig to get much better preformance out of them unless you get new pads along with it and good luck cleaning the calipers to paint them it took me 5 hours to do just th front......but yeah im very happy with them and look great, but the zinc coating is only going to last a few days on the actual disc part of the rotor

just so you know the zinc plating doesnt really do **** haha... They are still gonna rust over on the braking surface in rain.. The hub will probably be the only place that doesnt oxidize, but you dont see that ever.

yea thats the whole point, the hub surface on my rotors now are rusting in the front, and of course I am getting new brake pads on all 4 corners.

the zinc plating wore off actually the same day when i went to break in the pads.....but they have this gunmetal machine finish color and they go perfectly with my wheels ....i was kinda mad when i saw they turned a little black but i've grown use to it

and with the hub staying nice and silver its makes a huge difference
