I need to change it. What viscosity should i get and how much do i need? Thanks in advance.

Not sure ifs its the same as 4th gens, but I changed mine about a year and a half ago... I think it was either 80 or 90 weight, and I think I got two quarts, but didnt use it all.

75w90 should be fine, Not sure how much it takes i just fill them till they start comin out the plug hole. You should be good if you buy 2 or 3 bottles.

that's it, and if limited slip make sure and add the additive

will adding too much hurt? I realized when i was done that the car was only jacked up on the side with the hole on it so i think there is more fluid than its supposed to have.

Since I just got this car I have no clue when anything was done so im trying to go ahead and do all the maintenance issues anyway. Is there a way for me to check it without taking it off?

If it were me, I would change every fluid in a car you just got. Can't hurt and you will then know for sure when fluids will need to be changed again.
