Rear End Help!!!!

I have a 1994 3.4l and am in the market for a new rear end. I found this one for sale this is what he has to say. My question is will this rear end find my demensions?

posi, 31 spline with axles. It came out of an ordered Firebird and has some strange dimensions around the car. Check yours and tell me how long it is(the axle housing that is) like from bolt face to bolt face or axle face to " ". Has 3.73's in it now.

no. ours have 28 spline axles.

thanks, that all I needed to know. That and theres no way that rear end would be able to work with a Pissed off LT1 before snapping it so im going for a LS1 rear end. Hope that goes good.

LS1 rear ends are no stronger than the LT1's- they are all 10 bolt rears-

yeh but when I said i was getting a ls1 rear end is because I found a wrecked SS that im taking it off. Was just being spacific of what I found. I would love a 12 bolt but **** that is half of what im spending on the swap. Theres no **** way I could afford it. :banghead:

so after the Ls1 rear whats next?

if your worried about braking the 10 bolt then a 12 bolt won't be a whole lot better, if you want strength and have to make something work do a ford 9in

Stock V8 rear end should hold up just fine as long you keep slicks off of your car.
