Rear End Sound

Ok well i did a small burn out and now my spring is poping off the axle when i step on the gas

like the spring is level yet the mount that the srping sits on is like 10 degrees down from the spring so it doesnt completely sit on the monut correctly

now does anyone know how i can fix this without having to buy a new rearend

how the **** did that happen from a "small burnout" lol the springs sit right on some cup things welded to the rear. i guess ir u bent one...you could hammer it back straight or maybe the spring is just sitting wrong and you could fix it by moving it back into place... just get a bigass hammer

paarman97maro 08-11-2006 01:34 PM

lol

sorry.

like i dont understand it its not like i was doing anythign big it was a small one when i took off then next thing you know its poping like crazy it dont make sense

blue89vert 08-11-2006 03:51 PM

are you sure thats what the problem is

YELLOWCAMARO94 08-11-2006 04:00 PM

ok now i dont knw if that is it or not i went down to use the large hammer idea and it seams the spring is set on correctly

now this problem started to occur alomst right after i snapped the 2 piece drive shaft and i put a 1 piece driveshaft in

so anyone ever hear of this poping sound its not a slow pop its a very fast one kind of like it is vibrating seems to be coming from the right side of the back of the car
