rebuilding a 91 camaro
 

hey guys like i said before i have a 91 camaro and it is really messed up but i was thinking of trying to save it. i wanted to know if you guys could give me a ruff guess of what you may think it would cost to fix it up.

the whole inside needs to be replaced

new wheels

eng and tranny needs to be rebuild

the front fenders and bummper needs to be replaced (frame is good and stright)

front headlight housing and headlight needs to be replaced

all new weather stripping

new full exhaust

that sums up the most of it tell me do you think i am looking at more then 2 grand for everything if i go to a junk yard and get it all in one shot?


and would a vett 350 bolt in to this car with little modding?

How much these cars are going for now Id bet it would be cheaper just looking for a pretty decent looking 3rd gen to begin with. As for the vette 350, if its non LT1 LS1 ya itll bolt right in. If its fuel injected you will need the computer off of it as well tho. Or you can throw a carb on it and toss the puter like urs truely.

If you do that tho you need a lot lower PSI fuel pump, and non comp controlled distributor.

why a vette motor, you can build a better engine for less money (change the cam in a f body 350 and have basically the same motor)

it was just an idea i have a 305 right now was thinking dropping a nice new crate eng in

get the ram jet crate motor then

well it is going to be awhile before i have the money for this and do you guys think i can get everything but the eng/tranny rebuild? for under 2 gs

hey guys i just found out some nice things about the car i took her to a friend of mine and we where trying to find where sheis leaking oil and i found out that she has a new Suspension and a new exhausht but the hangers need to be replaced
