ok, im doing my front brakes on monday, there getting really bad, the whole car shutters when i hit the brakes, and i heard a squeel today so they need doing.. im also turning down my rotors cause thats whats causing the shuttering, i was just wondering if anyone knew the min. thickness the rotor has to be, thnx

I rarely turn rotors, new ones are almost as cheap, and last longer than turned, are you doing the turning or haveing it done?

im turning them down myself, its free i just take em off my car and go to my school shop... the teacher there likes me so he lets me work in there whenever i want.. and i find it embaressing when i go to stop at a light and my brakes start squeaking

some of the stock rotors are labled with minimum thickness

hmm ill have to check that out im not sure if the rotors are stock or not
