shocks

ok, so im looking for some rear shocks for my car (87 camaro) someone already pointed out that KYB's are good.. anyone else know of some good shocks for about 80-100 bucks CAD

JesasaurusRex 03-03-2005 01:27 AM

What do you want to do with the car. Good handling corner wise n stuff, or great weight transfer for dragging? If you wanna drag i got the 90/10 lakewood drag struts up front think theyre like 90 bux a pop. And the 50/50 lakewood drag shocks out back think those are like 40 bux a pop.

good handling corner wise, i dont any plans for the car... keeping it as a daily driver for about another year or so and im gunna sell it and buy another camaro

i want the manual tranny.. i figure it would be to hard to convert it...but im having second thought about it.. and i might want to keep the auto im not sure yet

archemedes 03-16-2005 10:51 PM

putting a stick in an auto car isn't that hard (cut a hole and add a new pedal assembly from a donor car) add the clutch parts (master cylinder)heck guys have done it with first gen cars that had mechanical linkage that had to be fabbed up

Dcalado_ 03-16-2005 11:18 PM

really? well.. that changes everything hmm im might keep it now and swap everything when i have the money, saves me from selling this car, and buying another one, and then starting to save up for the swap

quick question, what auto tranny came with the ls1's?
