Actually that right there is the reason. Yall knwo the Viper is my dream car. I bout a little 1:18th scale model of a RT/10 back when i was like 14 and fell in love with it and that exaust. So whn i say i wanted side exiting exaust forever - thats pretty much the truth! I wanted it before i even had a car or knew anything about them.

yeah good point. vipers have em...hmm...i'd go to www.dmv.ca.gov and check it out. it'll take awhile, that site sucks for finding legallity info.

you could still have mufflers, and a cat, possibly. With our cars, I'm not sure because of how far back the cat is.. it might take some hard work and modification. The T/A had side exit true duals exhaust until Ryan got annoyed about the ground clearance and ripped them off. He had mufflers and a cat on his.. it pretty much went straight from the cat right into the muffler, then out the side... he never got around to putting the new tips on it before he ripped them off... I have pics of his if you wanna see, just to understand how close the cat and muffler were..

some states do have a law regauding placement, but few complain it shouldn't be too hard to make work either

Just had a thought - Roush Mustangs have side exiting exaust. Looks good too. So i dont' think it's a placement issue. God i wana do this. Still accepting donations to the "Help Grant Fix Epic" fund. :lolsign:
