SLP Center Exit

i want to buy the SLP Center Exit exhaust for my 95 3.4....... the guy from SLP said it wouldnt fit cuz the Undercarage of the car is different then the z28........... i think its ********..... the skirts should fit cuz the rear bumpers are all the same... and the tip might just need to be hung different...........

ANYBODY THAT HAS INFO ON THIS PLEASE HELP....... THANKS

NoRiceInside 07-03-2005 03:38 PM

slp sucks. they dont know anything about V6s...so they always say the V8 stuff wont fit on the V6s. the skirt will fit, but the exhaust wont. the Z28s have 3" inlet for the muffler...V6s have 2.5".

SLPowerZ 07-03-2005 08:21 PM

you can make it work. at worst you will need exhaust adapters

archemedes 07-03-2005 09:41 PM

the only difference in the undercarriage is the engine mounts, and exhaust size, teh body is the same

PHDcamaro 07-04-2005 11:39 AM

**** it.... imma just order the magnafow catback

SLPowerZ 07-04-2005 12:54 PM

thats also a sweet exhaust, you'll be happy w/ it

archemedes 07-04-2005 12:56 PM

why not just order mufflers and have the pipes made up for less money?

the Center Exit exhaust from SLP is a bad *** I get compliments like crazy. Just get those Magnaflows and then have them customized to look like the SLP piping and buy the rear kit seperate. Then you have a V6 exhaust that fits your car and would sound better then a v8 exhaust with a bigger chamber and the look would fit your apperance needs.

ill prolly just get the magnaflow catback for now... then over winter order the SLP crap and start cutting **** up :)..... i love cutting **** up

good looking 6, Have you ever ran your 6? In my old six I ran an 16.2 with crap elivation, Slow but it was almost stock, Flow Master American Thunder exhaust, B&M shift kit, Ported and polished T/B, K&N CAI, Yokahoma ES100 tires 17x9, The car was good to me until it started falling apart over the last few months before I sold it.

never ran it.. i have a blown 1-2 syncro and a bent shift fork..... its a ***** to drive sometimes but u just have to get used to it..... im getting the tranny rebuilt early next spring....... money pending

I have had both V6's and V8's and I can tell you they're the same. They only think you might need is the adapter they sell for the loudmouth which is nothing more than an S pipe.

PHDcamaro 07-05-2005 06:16 PM

ill get it later in winter... i just ordered the Magnaflow Cat-Back from Extreme Parts in Racine...... love those guys........... i pick it up saturday

redv6 07-06-2005 02:10 AM

if you go with the magna, try a bullet muffler mid pipe. Sound nice :)
