SMOG - 3.8 K&N vs. SLP

I hear that both the K&N CAI and the SLP whisper lid and cold-air dam result in similar hp increases. The K&N cold-air intake comes with a sticker to allow it to pass smog. Does the SLP whisper lid/cold-air offer the same security?

I'm pretty sure the SLP has one too. My friend has one on his car and he lives in Cali as well.

What city you from?

I live in West Hills, in the San Fernando Valley. Its near the 101 and 405 fwy. Your buddy around there?

I asked him if it was smog legal and he wasnt sure either. It didnt come with a sticker or anything. He is planing on taking it off when he takes the next smog test and putting it back on when he passes.
