wow when was the thing last replaced?

imported_blade 06-08-2005 12:51 PM

i've no clue! you don't think i need to replace the distributor, do you? i redid the cap and rotor and cleaned up most of that junk yesterday.

but on the way into work today i almost got hit on the side because i was pulling into traffic and she just started backfirin up a storm. it was terrible, and i basically crawled my way into work. when i got out, smoke was pourin out from the underside. my cat converter was smoking crazymad...
it seems like i mighta mixed up the cables puttin the new cap on or something, but i triple checked and there's that little detail of it runnin better than ever yesterday after replacing them...
what's goin on!?!

the smoke from teh cat was it getting too hot from a dead cylinder which probably means a wire is loose, and the cat is toast
