what oil leak? is that an LT1 joke...

and yes its the lower radiator hose that is wrong...so you won $.50, so for the other $.50 whats the problem.

blue89vert 08-20-2006 12:37 AM

Mrs. Meenz28 08-20-2006 12:51 AM

FORCE_FED_Z 08-20-2006 01:00 AM

Just replace the hose, it happens when they get old..and the problem is too many stock parts in that engine bay..it looks way too cluttered!! oh wait, you live in Cali- guess you get to keep all those pretty EGR fittings!!

MeenZ28 08-20-2006 01:05 AM

I was going to say it says corvette and it's a trans am.... but what do i know?

So do you know what's wrong with it, or are you not saying until someone guess's the right answer?

NoRiceInside 08-20-2006 05:25 PM

well the hose itself is really worn out and stretchy...i think the only issue is a worn hose...

aarontracy 08-20-2006 06:44 PM

id say that hose would have to be in pretty good shape to hold that kinda of pressure.

well i actually think my stat was fine. the hose was really soft so maybe it just started giving way. 18 pounds of pressure for 10 years does that...

JooneJune 09-02-2006 12:21 PM

it's having a baby hose. Give it time, it's water will break soon enough... Change your hose
